Leading Environmental Lawyer Appointed - June 2010

Tughans, one of Northern Ireland's leading business law firms, has announced the appointment of Andrew Ryan as a partner and head of the firm's Environment and Planning Department.

Andrew joins Tughans from another leading Belfast law firm where he practised environment, planning and energy law. Prior to this he worked for City of London firm CMS Cameron McKenna and with the Environment Agency in England. Admitted as a solicitor to act in England & Wales, as well as within Northern Ireland, Andrew adds to one of Tughans core strengths and the ability of the firm to advise clients doing business in Northern Ireland as well as clients who have operations across Great Britain and Ireland.

Andrew has an excellent reputation as a leader within the environment and planning fields. He has spoken at numerous industry conferences and has published many articles on the subject.
