19/09/2011

Chartered Accountants Ulster Society has announced a partnership with Tughans.

This agreement, the first of its kind with a law firm, will see Tughans sponsoring the Society’s Annual Dinner on the 15th March 2012 and supporting the Society’s event programme.

As part of the partnership, Tughans will host a series of jointly branded practical seminars for members on a range of legal topics. The seminar series, known as ‘The Adviser Series’, will commence on Tuesday 25th October, at the Ulster Society Belfast headquarters on the very current topic of ‘Directors Duties and the Insolvency Conundrum’.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Chairman of Chartered Accountants Ulster Society, Michael Black said: "The Ulster Society is delighted to be working with Tughans on our programme of events over the coming year.  We look forward to working closely over the next few months in delivering the branded seminars which should have a broad appeal for our members. The seminar programme will address practical legal issues which our members are facing, whether they work in practice, in industry or in the public or voluntary sectors.”

Ian Coulter, Managing Partner at Tughans commented: “The Ulster Society plays a vital and vibrant role in supporting and developing Chartered Accountants within the Northern Ireland business community. Tughans welcomes this opportunity to contribute and forge closer links with the members through this sponsorship.”
