Ciara Fulton obtained a first class honours degree in law from Trinity College Dublin in 1998 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2002. She worked in the employment Department of a leading Dublin law firm from 2002 until joining the Employment Team in Tughans in January 2007. She became a Partner at Tughans in 2010. Ciara is dual qualified in NI and ROI.
Ciara advises clients in both the public and private sectors on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. Ciara has significant experience of advising employers on collective redundancies and reorganisations, complex disciplinary/grievance procedures, harmonising terms and conditions of employment, executive appointments and severances as well as Tribunal and High Court proceedings. Ciara regularly advises in relation to employment law aspects of sales and acquisitions including TUPE in the context of business transfers and outsourcing. Ciara also provides bespoke and general training in employment law to clients and to the public.
