Kevin Gallagher qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and joined Tughans in May 2011. Prior to joining Tughans, Kevin worked as a solicitor with a well-known Dublin law firm, represented an Irish statutory body at oral appeal hearings before an independent legal tribunal and was an in-house lawyer for a major bank.
Kevin specialises in the areas of commercial litigation and insolvency, advising clients in relation to matters such as breach of contract, shareholder disputes, property litigation, construction contracts, the validity and enforceability of security and all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency. His clients include individuals, company directors, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners. He has extensive experience of appearing before courts and tribunals and has won a number of awards for his advocacy skills.
Kevin holds an LL.B honours degree in law and a master’s degree from Trinity College Dublin and is admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and in England and Wales.
