Michael McCord graduated in law from Trinity College Dublin in 1994 and joined Tughans in the same year, qualifying in 1996. He became a Partner in April 2003.
Michael provides advice to clients in relation to general commercial litigation matters including building contract litigation and arbitration, property litigation, company shareholder disputes, judicial review and debt recovery.
He is a member of the Society of Construction Law.
In Chambers UK 2011, Michael’s expertise is recognised in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Construction and Real Estate Litigation where he is variously described as being “very capable and always sets out the positives and negatives of any course of action" and “accessible, easy-going and explains the situation in terms that are easily understood”.
