  • Acted for Aepona Limited on the subscription by Bluecrest Capital Finance LP for loan notes issued by Aepona Limited in aggregate value of £5 million.
  • Advising Crescent Capital on its equity investment in Replify Limited.
  • Advised SIG Group Plc on the acquisition of a Northern Ireland building products company.
  • Advised Synetecs, a Northern Irish equity investment vehicle, on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of MacIldowie Associates Limited, a leading  finance and HR recruitment consultancy in the Midlands.
  • Advised Fusion Antibodies, a Northern Ireland biopharmaceutical company, on its latest funding round.
  • Advised Fujitsu on its e-HR Business outsourcing contract with the Department of Finance and Personnel for the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
  • Advised APT Licencing on the disposal of its audio hardware business to Audefi2, and Audemat group company.
  • Advised Whale on its acquisition of the business and assets of Propex Heatsource Limited.
  • Advised Kelman on the sale of its Dissolved Gas Analysis business to GE Energy.
  • Acted for APT Licensing Limited in its restructuring and subsequent sale of the hardware element of its subsidiary, Audio Processing Technology Limited, to the French based Audemat Group.
  • Acted for the management team in the management buy out of Xperience Group Limited.
  • Acted for Resource (NI) Limited on its acquisition of certain of the business and assets of Federal Security Services Limited from its administrative receivers.
  • Acted for Monaghan Mushrooms Limited (the largest mushroom producer in Europe) in its acquisition of shares in Tunnel Tech Limited, Tunnel Tech North Limited and The Premier Mushrooms Group Limited.
  • Acted for Lagan Technologies Limited in relation to a major funding round involving follow-on funding by 5 venture capital shareholders.
  • Acted for E Synergy Limited (a London based venture capital firm) on its investments in Sonic Music Services Limited, Anaeko Limited and Sembarc Limited.
  • Acted for the Vendors on the sale of Villagend Properties Limited and its subsidiary, Limavady Gear Company Limited, to LGC Skyrota Wind Energy Corporation (a Canadian based plc). Limavady Gear Company had developed a new patented design for gear boxes in wind turbines and is in the process of developing its own wind turbine for light industrial and commercial use.
  • Acted for Fusion Antibodies Limited (a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the development of antibodies for the treatment of cancer) in a follow-on funding round by existing shareholders including 2 venture capital shareholders.
