Planning Highlights

• Advising local landowner/objector in connection with the draft Belfast Metropolitan Area Plan 2015 ("BMAP 2015") on the following grounds:- objection to exclusion of specified land in Bangor from settlement development limit; objection to inclusion of site within green belt; objection to non-identification of specified lands as a Development Opportunity Site.

• Advising Fortfield Partnership in connection with the BMAP Inquiry including the Strategic Distribution Argument; objection to Greenisland Development Limit and objection to Carrickfergus Rural Landscape Wedge.

• Advising Fortfield Partnership in connection with A2 Shore Road, Greenisland (Belfast to Carrickfergus) Upgrade Scheme and making representations in connection with Environmental Statement, Direction Order and Vesting Order Public Inquiries.

• Advising and representing Maymore Developments at a Planning Appeal in connection with the erection of a housing development in Bessbrook comprising circa 378 dwellings.

• Advising Huhtamaki (Lurgan) Limited on planning issues in connection with factory site at Inn Road, Dollingstown.

• Providing ongoing planning advice in connection with Phase I and Phase II extensions and roads network at Erneside Shopping Centre, Enniskillen to Diageo Pension Trust Limited.

• Provided planning advice to Genova North West Limited on the acquisition of a retail park at Crescent Link, Derry.

• Advising Stoney Properties Limited in connection with Article 40 and Article 122 Agreements relating to Bridgewater Park, Banbridge.
