Directors

A director need not be either a resident or a national of Northern Ireland. A public company is required to have a minimum of two directors, while private companies must have at least one. The executive director has a dual role: as a member of the board - with attendant powers, responsibilities and duties of care, skill, and diligence - and as an officer of the company, usually employed on a full-time, remunerative basis.
