Award winning student at Tughans - May 2009

Congratulations to Joanne Ferguson, a trainee solicitor with Tughans.  Joanne was recently awarded ‘the Lord Lowry Prize for greatest merit in assessment for final year’ and ‘the Sweet and Maxwell Prize for most distinguished student in the final examination for the degree of Bachelor of Law.’  Patrick Brown, Partner in charge of training at the firm, said ‘for Joanne to be awarded two prizes of such distinction in her final year is an outstanding achievement.’ Joanne commented, ‘I was delighted to have been awarded these prizes and to have had my hard work recognised in this way. I look forward to building on my academic success in my training and in the development of my legal career.’
