Leading business law firm appoints new managing partner - May 2009

Tughans Solicitors, NI’s largest law firm, has today announced that it is has appointed a new managing partner in preparation for the next phase of its development.

Ian Coulter, at 38, becomes the firm’s youngest ever Managing Partner.

“I think this says more about my fellow partners than anything else” commented Coulter, “Traditionally larger firms in Belfast have always taken a “time served” approach to such positions however our partners have always been prepared to think outside of the box. I hope the new structures will assist in our two key objectives namely serving our clients well and looking after our staff”.
