Michael McCord
Michael McCord graduated in law from Trinity College Dublin in 1994 and joined Tughans in the same year, qualifying in 1996. He became a Partner in April 2003.
Michael provides advice to clients in relation to general commercial litigation matters including building contract litigation and arbitration; property litigation; company shareholder disputes; judicial review; and debt recovery. He acted for the developer of the retail site at Holywood Exchange in proceedings successfully defended ultimately in the House of Lords. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law. In Chambers 2006, Michael is 'described by clients as a "champion"' who ' "tenaciously" shoulders the bulk of the commercial dispute work'. A keen cricketer, Michael is a current playing member of the MCC.
