Michael McCord graduated in law from Trinity College Dublin in 1994 and joined Tughans in the same year, qualifying in 1996. He became a Partner in April 2003.

Michael provides advice to clients in relation to general commercial litigation matters including building contract litigation and arbitration; property litigation; company shareholder disputes; judicial review; and debt recovery.

He is a member of the Society of Construction Law.

In Chambers 2008, a client’s guide to the UK legal profession, Michael is listed in the areas of construction law and dispute resolution where he is variously described as being ‘simply great’ and ‘full of advice and in-depth knowledge’.

A keen cricketer, Michael is a current playing member of the MCC.
