John Turley graduated in Law from Queens University Belfast in 2003 and qualified as a solicitor from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2005. Upon qualification he spent several months in Sydney where he was involved in a large commercial matter in the Australian Supreme Court in 2006, before joining the corporate department of Tughans in June 2007.
John is involved in a range of corporate law matters including sales and acquisitions of companies, reorganisations of groups of companies, joint ventures and the provision of general commercial and corporate law advices to both company shareholders and directors.
Having a keen interest in sports law, John is a registered lawyer with the English Football Association and is a member of the firm's sports law team. He is experienced in providing commercial legal advice to athletes, clubs and sporting bodies.
