James graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1975 with a B.A. in Economics and after serving his apprenticeship was admitted as a solicitor in the summer of 1978. James joined Tughans in November 2006. He has over 25 years experience in private client work particularly in the areas of residential conveyancing and property development
