Solicitor – Corporate

Tughans Corporate team is expanding, and we’re looking for talented corporate lawyers (up to 10 years PQE) to join our growing team.

Our Corporate team is one of the most active in Northern Ireland, advising on high-profile M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions. You’ll work on high-profile, market-leading transactions with a collaborative and ambitious team, advising a diverse range of clients.

We act for a diverse client base spanning private and public companies, private equity funds, entrepreneurs, and investors across a wide range of sectors.

Solicitor – Contracts & Technology / Energy

We are seeking ambitious and commercially minded solicitors with 2+ years’ PQE, qualified to practise in Northern Ireland, to join our market-leading Contracts & Technology and Energy teams.

• In Contracts & Technology, you will advise on commercial agreements, data protection, IP, and technology matters, including AI and cyber security.
• In Energy, your focus will be on commercial contracts and regulatory matters in the energy sector.

Paralegal – Corporate Department

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our award winning Corporate team in Belfast.

Tughans’ Corporate team is one of the most active in Northern Ireland, advising on high-profile M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions. You will work alongside a market-leading team, supporting a range of deals for our diverse client base.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in corporate and transactional law to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-performing legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with transaction management and legal due diligence
• Drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
• Supporting client communications and attending meetings as required
• Preparing corporate filings and assisting with post-completion work
• Managing and organising transaction documents and data rooms
• General legal and administrative support to fee earners and partners

Essential Criteria

• A third-level qualification in law or a relevant legal discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of basic company law and corporate structures
• Familiarity with due diligence processes or corporate filings
• Interest in pursuing a career in corporate or commercial law
