Procurement

Our market leading procurement law practice in Northern Ireland has considerable experience in both contentious and non-contentious procurement matters. We have acted in many of the major projects and procurement cases in Northern Ireland over the last number of years, including nationally significant infrastructure in roads, waste, water, stadium development, digital transformation, healthcare, energy, and transport.

We are experienced in acting for both utilities and public sector contracting authorities in relation to the structure and conduct of complex and high volume procurement exercises across a range of sectors, with particular expertise in the healthcare, advertising, social housing, technology, construction, transport, ports, and property development sectors.

Our knowledge of procurement law and understanding of contracting authorities enables us to advise on strategic procurement issues relating to bidding strategy, potential challenges and/or risk management issues relating to contractual provisions or contractual amendments.

If you believe a procurement decision to be unjust, we have acted for many unsuccessful bidders in landmark cases in Northern Ireland, and on behalf of successful tenderers in respect of applications for discovery.
