Environment and Planning

Our environment and planning law team are experts in providing technical advice in the most commercially effective way on all aspects of Northern Irish matters.

Working closely with our Construction and Real Estate teams, as well as providing advice on environmental aspects of corporate deals, we handle various contentious and non-contentious issues, which range from leading judicial review proceedings, to advising on highway agreements, to environmental impact assessments and planning applications, to advising on environmental aspects of acquisitions.

We have been involved with in some of Northern Ireland’s most significant commercial and residential projects such as the redevelopment of Casement Park and other NI stadia, major housing schemes including airports and ports, the construction of waste to energy plants, and are lead advisors for the renewable energy sector, having worked on numerous ‘first of it’s kind’ wind farm matters in Northern Ireland.
