Uform expands UK footprint with strategic acquisition of TKC

Tughans has advised Uform on its acquisition of Manchester‑based kitchen manufacturer TKC, a significant transaction supporting Uform’s continued expansion across the UK.

The acquisition represents a landmark development for the Northern Ireland‑headquartered business and strengthens its manufacturing capability and market presence. It brings together two established manufacturers with complementary expertise, production capacity and customer bases.

Tughans advised Uform throughout the transaction on all aspects of the acquisition and associated financing arrangements.

Paul O’Brien, Partner at Tughans, said:
“It was a pleasure to continue working closely with the Uform team, supporting them on this important milestone as they advance their UK growth strategy.”

The Corporate team was led by Partner, Paul O’Brien and Associate Solicitor Josh Hunter. The Banking team was led by Partner Douglas Anderson, supported by Director Alice Coogan and Associate Solicitor Max Crowley, with additional support from colleagues across the firm.

The firm has a longstanding relationship with Uform, having previously advised BGF on its investment into the business, and subsequently advising Uform on the investment by Cardinal. This latest transaction reflects Tughans’ continued support of the business as it executes its growth strategy.
