Tughans team raises over £6,000 for Alzheimer’s Society

Team members at Tughans have raised over £6,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society, the charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure, and supports people living with dementia.

The Alzheimer’s Society was chosen by team members as the firm’s charity of the year. As part of the partnership, The Alzheimer’s Society also visited Tughans to deliver workshops on dementia awareness.

Patrick Brown, Managing Partner of Tughans, said: “Someone in the UK develops dementia every three minutes and there’s currently no cure, making it one of the biggest health and social care challenges of our time.  The work of the Alzheimer’s Society is absolutely crucial. We had a fantastic partnership with the society this year and I want to thank all of our team for their fundraising efforts and contribution.”

Bernadine McCrory, NI Director of the Alzheimer’s Society, said: “I want to wholeheartedly thank the team at Tughans for their support. We have thoroughly enjoyed partnering with them and have been absolutely delighted with their commitment and enthusiasm. The £6,000 will be put to incredibly good use as we continue to campaign for change, fund research to find a cure, and supports people living with dementia.”
