Rebecca joined the real estate department of Tughans in 2006 having completed the LPC at the College of Law, Chester and completing her training contract in Tughans.  Rebecca is a solicitor of dual qualification practicing in England/Wales and Northern Ireland.  Rebecca is the Training Principal for Tughans and is responsible for the recruitment and active management of new IPLS and LPC trainees in the firm.  She is a member of Women in Business and sits on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion group.

Rebecca specialises in commercial real estate and advises on all aspects of commercial property including site acquisition and development, investment, funding and disposal of commercial property for both private and public sector clients.  Rebecca has extensive knowledge in landlord and tenant matters and portfolio management particularly in the retail sector for investors of retail parks and shopping centres in both Northern Ireland and England.

  • Sale of Boucher Retail Park, Belfast on behalf of a private client to Frasers Group;
  • Act for Tesco in relation to their Northern Irish property sites;
  • Landlord/tenant and general portfolio management of Tower Centre, Ballymena;
  • Landlord/tenant and general portfolio management of Buttercrane Shopping Centre, Newry;
  • Property acquisition and ongoing leasing work in relation to The Soloist, Forsyth House and East Bridge Street office buildings in Belfast housing occupiers including, KPMG, Pinsent Masons, Bank of London and WSP UK Limited;
  • Purchase of 29 care homes in Northern Ireland as part of the wider corporate acquisition of the business and assets of Four Seasons Healthcare Group;
  • Sale of a 55,315 sq ft call centre/data centre on a 4.23 acre site occupied by Capita Managed IT Solutions on behalf of a London fund.
