Digital DNA 2020: Getting Back to the Future

Digital DNA 2020 is ‘Getting Back to the Future’ and going virtual this year, taking place online on Tuesday 10 November and Wednesday 11 November. As sponsors of upStart*, Tughans have two events planned, featuring terrific line ups of key figures in the NI Tech sector:

How the NI Tech Sector is Adapting to the Current Climate

Tues 10 Nov at 10:00: Side Session Event

Moderated by Tughans Corporate Partner, John McGuckian, this event will showcase successful NI tech companies that have taken steps to innovate and diversify in response to the current climate. The panellists are Ian Browne (Ignite NI), Ian Savage (SureCert), Michael Carlin (Zymplify), Gareth Macklin (OBBI Solutions) and Roger Johnston (Axial 3D).

Supporting the NI Tech Sector and the Current Funding Landscape

Wed 11 Nov at 11:45: Main Stage Event

Moderated by Alastair Cameron (Startacus), our main stage event will focus on the current funding landscape, particularly for start ups in the NI Tech Sector. The panellists include Tughans Corporate Partner, Paul O’Brien, Carol Rossborough (CEO of Esther and the winner of upStart 2019), Audrey Osborne (Techstart) and Chris Trotter (Clarendon).

To access these events and more, don’t forget to register for a free pass for Digital DNA 2020

*Now in its 5th year, upStart at Digital DNA selects 20-30 early stage start ups to pitch their company to a selected group of investors and judges, including Tughans Contracts & Technology Partner, Andrew Kirke.

In 2020, upStart is going online and founders and their teams will have the opportunity to create a 5 min PITCHTAPE for the judges to consider. All upStart entrants are invited to book a free legal clinic with Tughans before or after the event, taking place on 25 November.
